College of Lake County Men's soccer had an improved year this past fall under coach Garcia who completed his second season with the Lancers. 

"We have improved in many ways and a big part of that is having brought on Andriy Berezovchuk. Andriy's knowledge of the game & his experience made an impact on our squad from day 1," highlighted coach Garcia. 

Andriy's resume is quite impressive as he holds a UEFA Pro License from the Ukrainian Association of Football. Not only that but he also played at the highest level for all of his life and has won many accolades both as a player and coach. 

"Bringing on Andriy is a blessing. He is a born winner, and above that, he is an amazing human. We have built a great relationship the past few months and I have learned a lot from him. He is exactly what we need to continue our journey in building a top program in the country." -Garcia 

In terms of his transition into the college system Andriy is excited to continue this new challenge, "I am happy to be here, after one season I have learned plenty about the college level. Gabe and I understand the game very similarly, we improved the team and were competing in most games. Now we want to not only compete, we want to win. We will build a top program that helps further develop & export players, we are thinking big."

"We had a good freshman class last year. We were starting 8 sometimes 9 freshmen, we didn't win many games, but we learned a whole lot. It will be an interesting 2024 coming up, our biggest focus as coaches right now is giving our current boys the resources to improve and prepare for a stronger 2024 and to recruit players who are a good fit for what we are trying to accomplish." - Garcia concluded

College of Lake County is located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. It has the proper facilities to give every student athlete an exceptional experience.
