The Athletics and Fitness Center at the College of Lake County is now open! The facilitiy re-opened to the public and CLC community on September 13, 2021 from 6:00am - 9:00pm. Community memberships are now available! Some exclusions do apply, please contact the Athletics Department front desk for further information at 847-543-2046.

- Pick-up basketball and volleyball (when not in use by scheduled events, classes, sports, etc.)
- Fitness Trail around campus
Who Can Use the Fitness Center?
To use these fitness center or gym for free, you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Be enrolled in a CLC credit class
- Be employed as a CLC staff member
- Be a Gold Level member of the CLC Alumni Association
If you do not meet one of the criteria above, you may purchase a Fitness Center Semester or Annual Pass in order to use our facilities:
- $75 per semester (Fall/Spring)*
- $50 per Summer Session*
- $200 Annual Fee
*Semester pass usage time is from the first day of the current semester to the first day of the next semester/session.

Check-In Procedures
- Sign in at the P.E.C. control desk.
- You must show a current picture I.D. card when signing in and leave it or a Fitness Center access card when working out.
- You will be issued a towel for use in wiping off equipment. Please help us keep our facility clean!
- If needed, you may also check-out a key for a locker. Lockers are available only for daily use.
- Your I.D. will be returned to you when all P.E.C. items have been turned in and you have completed your workout.
Rules and Regulations
- A physical examination is recommended before undertaking strenuous physical activity.
- A warm-up and cool-down is recommended for every workout.
- No food or drink allowed (except water).
- No children under the age of 18 permitted.
- Shirts must be worn.
- Shoes must be worn.
- Appropriate workout clothes only. No jeans or clothing with belts or zippers are allowed.
- Please wipe down equipment after exercising.
- No loitering.
- Please notify staff of any broken equipment.
- The entire P.E. Center is a non-smoking area.
- No locks may be left on overnight in the locker rooms, unless approved by the P.E. Center Supervisor's office.
- All injuries must be reported immediately to the attendant on duty.
- CLC is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
