Erin Beck to Lead CLC Bowling Program!


Erin Beck was named the Head Men's & Women's Bowling Coach at College of Lake County on November 13, 2023.  Coach Beck comes on board to CLC as the first coach in program history and will lead them into action for their inaugural season beginning for the Fall 2024 season.  
Coach Beck has most recently served as the Head Coach at Vernon Hills High School Girl's bowling the past 8 seasons.  Her final two seasons, the team had advanced to the IHSA State Finals.  Beck is a USBC Silver level coach as well as a Kegel Master in Direction, Speed & Release graduate.  She will be attending the Masters two-handed class in early 2024.  Coach Beck also coaches youth at Lakeside Recreation Center in Mundelein, and also serves as a private instructor.  Additionally, Erin also serves as a Director of Local Greater Lake County USBC Association for the past 9 years.  Erin has studied under USBC Hall of Famer Bill Spigner for the past 11 years.  Spginer served as a program mentor in her Vernon Hills girl's bowling program.
Director of Athletics, Bradley Unger emphasized the significance of this milestone, stating, "In selecting Coach Beck, we aim to establish a strong foundation for the inaugural season, setting the stage for a tradition of excellence in collegiate bowling.  Her dedication and expertise align perfectly with our ambitions."  
Coach Beck is currently recruiting for the 2024-2025 season.
