Another Stellar Season in the Books: Lancers Esports Continues to Dominate Nationally

This esports season has come to an exciting close, and once again, the Lancers have proven why they are a force to be reckoned with on the national stage. Led by the visionary Coach Matthew Hixon, aka 99centMcFury, our teams have demonstrated resilience, skill, and determination across multiple titles, finishing the season strong and setting the stage for even greater success in the years to come.

Overwatch – Undefeated and Unmatched
The Lancers Overwatch team continued their dominance, going undefeated with a perfect 7-0 record. Their exceptional performance earned them the #4 spot in the nation, solidifying their reputation as one of the top-tier teams in the country.

FIFA – Strong Finish with a Top 10 Ranking
Our FIFA squad showcased incredible talent, finishing the season with a 4-1 record. Their impressive play earned them the #8 ranking nationwide, reflecting their skill and consistency throughout the season.

Street Fighter 6 – Near Perfection 
The Lancers Street Fighter 6 team was nothing short of spectacular, going 8-0 and earning a #4 national ranking. Their flawless performance displayed the technical prowess and dedication of our fighters, making them a force to watch.

Rocket League – High Flying and Competitive
While the Rocket League team finished the season ranked #33 nationally, their performance remains commendable, especially considering they faced in-season roster adjustments. Despite these challenges, they held their ground and continued to compete at a high level.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – A Season of Resilience 
Our Super Smash Bros. Ultimate team finished with a 13-3 record, a remarkable achievement. Although a scheduled forfeit due to unforeseen circumstances caused their ranking to drop from an anticipated #3 to #154 nationally, the team's fighting spirit remains undiminished. In esports, forfeits can be devastating, but our players' resilience keeps us confident in future seasons.

Looking Ahead 
Despite some setbacks, the Lancers Esports program has enjoyed a highly successful season across multiple titles. Our sights are set on Tier 2 competitions in the upcoming year, where we aim to add more titles and continue our domination. Our commitment to excellence and growth remains unwavering, and we're excited to see what the future holds.
