The Men's and Women's Bowling teams opened GLBC Tournament #3 with their highest team games of the season. The Men rolled a 1007, while the Women posted a 720 with four bowlers.
The Men's team finished 9th out of 22 teams in the Team event with a total of 4610, then surged during Baker play. With a 3078 Baker total, the Men swept all four matches to climb into 7th place overall.
The Women's team earned an 8th-place finish and continued to show steady growth and improvement throughout the event.
Individually, Mel Engelking placed 10th with an 867. Sophomore Lee McClellan led the Men with a 1052 series (210 average), while freshman Zack Benz followed closely with a 1038 series (204 average). These athletes continue to grow daily, improving both their individual games and overall team strategies.
GLBC Tournament #4 will take place in Green Bay, January 31–February 1, with playoffs scheduled for Sunday afternoon. Currently, the Men sit in 9th place with a 16–11 record, just outside the top-8 cut. A focused effort in both Team and Baker play will be key to advancing into the GLBC playoffs.
Women's team standings are not yet available, but Melanie Engelking is currently 10th in the individual standings.
