CLC Bounces Back with 2–0 Win Over Kishwaukee

College of Lake County bounced back with a strong 2–0 victory over Kishwaukee, earning an important clean sheet and responding well after our previous result.

The midfield was excellent throughout the match, led by a dominant performance from Jorge Morales. Jorge controlled the tempo, competed defensively and helped CLC maintain possession and dictate the game from the middle of the field.

Brandon Peral provided a quality assist to Ezekiel Maya, who opened the scoring in the first half with a composed finish. The goal gave CLC momentum and allowed the team to take a 1–0 lead into halftime.
Defensively, CLC remained organized and committed to protecting the lead. Jayden Wenckus was outstanding in goal, coming up with a crucial penalty-kick save and making several big saves late in the second half to preserve the clean sheet.

CLC added a second goal to put the game away and ultimately secured a well-earned 2–0 victory.

CLC came out with energy, discipline and determination from the opening whistle. The midfield set the tone, the defense stayed composed under pressure, and Jayden came up with the big moments when the team needed him most. This was a complete team performance and a strong reminder of what CLC can accomplish when everyone commits to the game plan and competes for each other from start to finish.
