Coach Kate Van Gerven enters her third season as Assistant Coach, bringing valuable collegiate playing experience and club coaching expertise to the Lancers volleyball program. A graduate of St. Norbert College, she was a starting middle blocker for the Green Knights and earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance. Her experience competing in a strong NCAA Division III program has been instrumental in helping prepare CLC student-athletes to perform at a high level.
In addition to her role at CLC, Coach Van Gerven serves as a head coach at Sky High Volleyball Academy, where she continues to develop athletes at the club level. She is passionate about player development and looks forward to further elevating the team’s on-court performance in the upcoming season.
Outside of volleyball, Coach Van Gerven works full-time as an operations analyst at AbbVie.
