College of Lake County Athletic Director, Bradley Unger has announced the hiring of Walter Paiz, to lead the Women's Volleyball Program.  Paiz has spent the last 2 years as a Head Coach at North Boone High School in Poplar Grove, IL. 

Additionally, Coach Paiz, works at the prestigous Sky High Volleyball Club (Crystal Lake, IL), where he heads up the 15yr old National Team.  In his time there he has coached numerous collegiate athletes and has assisted in building the Sky High Volleyball Club reputation among 13yr-18yr old groups on the regional and national landscapes.

"Walter's experience at the elite club and high school levels should be a great advantage for him," commented, Unger.  "He comes highly recommended by multiple peers within the volleyball industry, and has coached at extremely competitive levels.  Living in Des Plaines, IL, and coaching in Libertyville, he knows the Chicagoland area and surrounding high school volleyball programs.  Coach Paiz's leadership skills and work ethic should be an outstanding fit to lead our team."

Paiz, graduated from Illinois Institute of Technology in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree.  He and his wife have 1 daughter, and reside in Des Plaines, IL.
