Billy Friedman is named the 2023 NJCAA 

Region 4 Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Year

College of Lake County (CLC) Men's Tennis Team player Billy Friedman has been named the National Junior College Athletic Association (NCAA) Region 4 Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Year.

Billy was the NJCAA Region 4 champion at number one singles.  Billy was undefeated in all of his singles matches leading up to and including the regional championship.  After winning the Region 4 Championship, Billy's singles record was 10-0 for the season. 

The NJCAA Region 4 Player-of-the-Year award tops off a season where Billy was also the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference Player-of-the-Year.  Billy was the Region 4 champion at number two singles and number one doubles the past two years.  Billy's undefeated record at number one singles led the CLC Men's Tennis Team to the NJCAA Men's Tennis National Tournament, a second place finish in both the region and conference, and a 8-2 team record. Congratulations to Billy Friedman on being named the NJCAA Region 4 Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Year!
