The men's tennis team secured a hard fought 5–4 victory over Illinois Valley.

Anthony Shultis and Chris Donkor set the tone early, earning the first point of the match with a dominant 8–2 win at the #2 doubles position. In #1 doubles, Marshawn Gallego and Seth Lamkin battled to a tiebreaker but fell just short, 8–9. Nathan Popov and Pablo Galan also pushed their #3 doubles match to a tiebreaker but were unable to come away with the win.

Trailing after doubles play, the Lancers responded strongly in singles competition. Shultis led the charge with a win at #2, while Lamkin added another victory at #4. Donkor contributed at #5, and Vinny Marino sealed a crucial point with his win at #6 to clinch the team victory.

The Lancers will be back in action as they travel to Park Forest Tennis and Health Club to face Prairie State on Tuesday, March 31 at 5 p.m.
