The men's tennis team won their first match of the season 8-1 against McHenry County College. The opponents were as challenging as the weather- in the 30's!
Dwayne Daarol playing his first match at #1 singles won 6-4,6-2.Â
Evan Bernales cruised to a victory at #2 singles.
Seth Lampkin won his first match as a Lancer at #3 singles 6-2,7-5. Also playing his first match as a Lancer,
Pablo Galan won 6-2,6-0 at #4 singles.
Mark Hornung won at #5 singles 6-4,6-1. Freshman Vinny Marino pulled out a tiebreaker victory 6-0, 3-6, 10-4.

Pablo Galan won at #2 doubles 8-4.
Ian Reyes and
Mark Hornung played hard, but came up short at #3 doubles 5-8.Â
The Lancers play College of DuPage Sunday at 12:00 pm at Lakes Community HS in Lake Villa.Â
