On short rest, the Lancers battled through a physical contest and showed their resilience in a big bounce-back win.
After conceding early, Alex Kreminsky brought the game level with a 35-yard strike that stunned the keeper and tied it at 1–1. In the second half, Ezekial Maya finished a low-driven cross from Caleb Nieze to give the Lancers a 2–1 lead. South Suburban equalized, but Damonte Mason broke the 2–2 deadlock with quick skill and a sharp turn in the box, finishing off a setup from Andrew Babos to seal the 3–2 victory.
A complete team effort full of grit, creativity, and composure.
Lancers will host the Pioneers of Prairie State College on Tuesday, September 9th at 4:00pm.Â
