With the Texas heat continuing, the Lancers took to the courts Thursday morning in the consolation semifinals.

Seth Lampkin showed tremendous hustle in the #4 singles match but came up just short, falling 8-9 to Oxford Emory. Christopher Donkor also battled hard at the #5 singles spot before dropping a close 6-8 match to Copia-Lincoln.

The Lancers found success in doubles play, as Anthony Shultis and Donkor teamed up for a victory at #2 doubles against Mercer.

Tomorrow, the Lancers will face regional rival Prairie State in a rematch for the consolation championship.
