The Lancers delivered one of their most impressive performances of the season, knocking off No. 18 Kankakee Community College on the road despite playing all 40 minutes with only five players. Short-handed but never short on heart, CLC controlled the game with toughness, togetherness, and relentless effort.

Annamaria Luna led the way with 21 points and 9 assists, orchestrating the offense with poise. Arianna Myers added 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks, while Monica Sierzputowski dominated the paint with a monster 16-point, 16-rebound, 4-block performance. Olivia Robinson contributed 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists, and Nevada Holm rounded out the starting five with 7 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 blocks.

Coach Morris couldn't have been more proud of his group: "What these five did tonight was incredible. Their fight, their composure, and their belief in one another never wavered. They earned every bit of this win."

Morris added, "To go on the road, against a nationally ranked team and compete the way we did, it says everything about the character of this group. I'm unbelievably proud of them."

A statement victory for the Lancers and the confidence win they were looking for helped improve their overall record to 10-2 on the season with 3 games remaining in the semester.

Lancers will be back on the road December 11th when they travel to Malcolm X College for a 5:00pm Tip-Off.
