Volleyball wins three straight

Volleyball bounces back from an 0-4 start to win three games in three nights.

The Lancers Volleyball (3-4) team opened up their season out in South Carolina. They faced strong competition and lost their first four matches. The ladies re-grouped, got back into the Central Time Zone and have since rattled off three straight wins.

Their win streak began vs Region IV opponent Triton College on August 27th. The Lancers took down the Trojans in four sets. "We truly passed the ball well all night. The ladies are all on the same page and continue to support each other, which is great to see", said Coach Bill Szczesniak. They had no time to celebate and contiunued their marathon road tour at Illinois Skyway Conference opponent Elgin Community College the next day. The ladies took care of business in three sets; 26-24, 25-14 and 25-11. They finished off their trifecta against Malcolm X in straight sets.

The Lancers look to continue their success against the Scots from McHenry County College on Wednesday, September 4th.
