The Lancers win in three straight sets to open up the CLC Tri-Match against the visiting Triton College Trojans. Lancers came out strong, beating the Trojans 25-18 in the first match, thanks to an early morning offensive attack led by #99 Veronica Henkel and #4 Ligaya Garibay. A fired up Lancer's team came out swinging in the 2nd set to take down the Trojans 25-15 and a 2-0 match lead. Quickly taking the momentum after the first 2 wins, the Lancers had great defensive plays led by freshman, #24 Brianna Morris, and quickly finished the match 25-18 to win the final set and take the morning victory.
