The Lancers team came out strong for a big conference win last night against rival Morton College with a 3 to 1 victory anchored by a strong attack from behind the service line with 14 aces.  The ladies took a solid win lead by Peyton Zastrow with 10 kills, 7 digs and 4 service aces.  Closely followed up by Alayna Malec with 9 kills and 5 blocks and Hailey Russo with 6 kills.  Brianna Morris chipped in 17 digs to lead the team in the back row and Jade Bueser lead the offense with 17 assists followed by Molly Cummings with 14 assists.  The ladies are next on the road next Wednesday at Elgin Community College for a 6pm first serve to continue conference play before they hit the road to travel to Michigan for the always tough Raider Invite.
