College of Lake County's standout sophomore, Sasha Baer, has been named the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference Player of the Year after completing a perfect season.

Baer dominated from start to finish, going undefeated in both singles and doubles play throughout the fall. Competing at the #1 singles position, she consistently set the tone for the Lancers with her powerful ground strokes, relentless competitiveness, and ability to control matches from the baseline. Alongside partner Linnea Lindstrom, Baer also anchored the Lancers' #1 doubles team, proving to be one of the toughest pairings in the conference.

Her leadership and consistency were instrumental in CLC's success this season, and this honor caps off an impressive campaign for Baer and the program.

With her undefeated record and recognition as Player of the Year, Baer has firmly established herself as one of the top players in the region.
