The CLC Women's Basketball team delivered a dominant performance Tuesday night, rolling to a 135–47 conference victory over Morton College in record-setting fashion.
The Lancers wasted no time asserting control, jumping out to a 36–7 lead after the first quarter and never looking back. The offensive explosion continued for all four quarters as CLC's 135 points set a new single-game scoring record in program history. It was a complete team effort, with every Lancer scoring and the ball consistently finding the open player.
CLC was lethal from the perimeter, knocking down 21 three-pointers on 50 attempts, stretching the floor and overwhelming Morton from the opening tip.
Annamaria Luna led the way with a phenomenal all-around night, finishing with 33 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assists, and 6 steals. Off the bench, Arianna Myers provided instant offense, pouring in 31 points and grabbing 7 rebounds.
The Lancers' balance was on full display as Olivia Robinson added 17 points, 4 assists, and 4 steals, while Nevada Holm posted a dominant double-double with 17 points, 17 rebounds, and 5 assists. Monica Sierzputowski was one assist shy of a triple-double, tallying 12 points, 13 rebounds, and 9 assists.
From deep, Samantha Swanson connected on four three-pointers on her way to 12 points, while TaKevia Sashington chipped in 8 points and 6 rebounds. Kaniya Perkins contributed 3 points and 3 rebounds, and Hannah Reyes rounded out the scoring with 2 points and 3 assists.
Head Coach Tanner Morris praised his team's approach and unselfishness following the win:

The Lancers will look to carry the momentum into their next conference matchup Thursday at Moraine Valley Community College, with tipoff scheduled for 5:15 p.m.
