Athletic Honors and Achievements
Mattucci coached the girls basketball team from 1991 to 2006 and led them to two state championships in 1995 and 1996. The team ultimately finished the 1996 season ranked third in the nation.
Career record of 455-184 in nineteen seasons, four at Luther North High School and the remaining fifteen at Stevenson.
The 1995 IHSA State Championship was the school’s first in a team sport.
Nine IHSA Regional Titles, four Sectional Titles, 3 State appearances and 2 State Titles.
Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Coach of the Year in 1995.
Illinois Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame Inductee in 2004.
