Post College Accomplishments
Following college graduation, he played 6 years in the Central State semi-pro football team, 3 years for the Lake County Rifles. He coached in the league for 9 years after this playing days were done.
He taught and coached at Zion-Benton High School for 27 years. Throughout his time he was an assistant varsity football coach. He spent several years as Zion-Benton's head girls basketball coach. Late in his career he coached 5 years of sophomore basketball at Libertyville.
