Lancers defeated at Joliet

Box Score

A short-handed CLC Women's Basketball team had a rough day at Joliet Junior College, loosing to the Wolves 82 - 23.

The Lancers only suited up 5 players for the game, due to injuries and sickness. Even among the players who did play, a couple were nursing aches and strains. "I give the ladies a lot of credit," said Coach Kyle Brokmeier. "Every team hits a rough patch with bumps and bruises; it is just that ours is at the start of the season, and has effected almost everyone. Those who played today worked their tails off and never quit even though the score was quite frustrating for everyone."

Emily Polelle (So. Westlake Christian) was the only Lancer in double figures as she had 12 points in the game. CLC's next game is Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 5:15 when they host Milwaukee Area Techincal College.
