"Early in the season we had our sights set on fast times today and yet again the weather had other plans. After 5 races of 100+ runners each, the course was a muddy slip and slide and our focus became safety and position racing," stated Head Coach Jorge Colin, "We have an important race in two weeks and these men have an opportunity to write their names into the school records books. The only other time our men have won back to back Conference championships was 2013-2014, today they proved they are 2018 contenders. A lot of things clicked for them today and as a coach, that is great to see."
The Lancers will take a week off from competition before hosting the Illinois Skyway Conference and NJCAA DI & DIII Region IV Championships on October 27th.
