On Saturday the host CLC Lancers took down the Moraine Valley Cyclones in the Region IV Quaterfinals by a score 5-0. The Lancers were led by Sophomore Kenna Wisniewski who had 2 goals and 1 assist on the day, and leads the team with 13 goals. Sophomores Kayla McCarthy and Anabelle Hernandez. and Freshman Alejandra Colo added to the scoresheet with one goal of their own.  Lancer goals were assisted by Wisniewski, McCarthy, Sophomore Anna Vazquez, Sophomore Jasmin Ortiz, and Freshman Giselle Morales-Cobian. In goal for the Lancers was Sophomore Giselle Mata who recorded her 5th shutout of the season.

Next up for the Lancers is the Region IV Semifinals Tuesday November 5 at #18 South Suburban College.  The Lancers have made the region semi-finals for the third season in a row as they face the number one seed in the tournament.
