The College of Lake County Volleyball team kept their hot start rolling with a perfect 3–0 weekend in Chicago, IL. The Lancers won all three matches in straight sets, improving to 4–0 overall and 1–0 in conference play.

On Friday, CLC opened the trip with a convincing win over Wilbur Wright College (25-12, 25-12, 25-21). The momentum carried into Saturday, where the Lancers swept both matches — defeating Malcolm X College in the morning (25-16, 25-13, 25-11) and closing the day with another strong performance against Blackhawk Technical College (25-9, 25-16, 25-15).

Led by a balanced attack of freshmen and sophomores, the Lancers showcased an exciting and aggressive style of play throughout the weekend. The squad has now won four straight matches to open the year, including a statement victory over nationally ranked No. 18 McHenry County College last Wednesday in their home opener.

CLC will look to keep the momentum going when they return home on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. to host conference opponent Prairie State College.
