The Lancers put on an offensive clinic Tuesday night, delivering an electric 104–84 home victory over Elgin College that had the gym buzzing from start to finish.
From the opening tip, the Lancers were unconscious from beyond the arc, raining in three after three and sharing the ball at an elite level. Their hot shooting fueled a 52–44 halftime lead, as Elgin struggled to keep pace with the Lancers' spacing, pace, and unselfish play.
Whatever momentum the Lancers built in the first half only continued after the break. The ball movement never cooled off, the shots kept falling, and the lead steadily grew. Elgin made a late push behind high-scoring guard Davee Flowers, who poured in 26 points and hit several tough shots to try to keep the Spartans within striking distance. Each time Flowers answered, the Lancers responded right back.
The numbers told the story of a dominant offensive night. The Lancers knocked down an eye-popping 18 three-pointers on just 30 attempts and finished with 29 assists, showcasing a connected, unselfish brand of basketball that overwhelmed the Spartans.
Derek Bishop led the way with 17 points and eight rebounds, while Emmanuel Willoughby added 16 points and five rebounds. Jayden Hall was deadly from deep, finishing with 14 points on 4-of-5 shooting from three. Corey Lee filled up the stat sheet with 14 points and nine assists, going 10-for-14 from the free-throw line. Iyayi Osunde chipped in 13 points, and Robert Walls II added seven points, six assists, and four rebounds.
Fueled by shooting, sharing, and relentless offensive pressure, the Lancers delivered one of their most impressive performances of the season—sending a clear message that this group can score with anyone, anywhere.
