College of Lake County delivered a dominant performance Sunday, powered by a historic day at the plate from Eiker Noguera in a 15–2 victory over Olive-Harvey College.
Eiker Noguera led the charge by hitting for the cycle, opening the scoring with a solo home run to center field in the first inning. He later added a double in the third, a triple in the fourth, and a single in the sixth to complete the rare feat.
College of Lake County built its lead steadily. Javy Rolon drove in a run with a single in the third inning to make it 2–0 before the offense exploded in the sixth. The team plated seven runs on four hits in the inning, highlighted by a two-run single from Julio Goyo, a two-run double by Blake Twito, and another two RBIs from Eiker Noguera.
On the mound, Tyler Budzien earned the win with a strong outing, allowing three hits and two runs over six innings while striking out five and walking two. Bodnar took the loss for Olive-Harvey, surrendering five runs on six hits in 3? innings. Logan Kurth added a scoreless inning in relief for College of Lake County.
Offensively, College of Lake County totaled 12 hits, with Trevor Meathe contributing two hits in four at-bats. The team also applied pressure on the bases, stealing three bags.
For Olive-Harvey, Ruiz and Rhodes each drove in a run, while Ruiz, Quevedo, and Linaves recorded hits.
