Samantha Beltran a two year starter for the College of Lake County women's softball team has signed with Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, WI. for the 2019 season.

Sam is a righty / righty, 6 foot first baseman, who can also play third. She is captain of the 2018 Lancer squad, a power hitter and can make a bad throw into an out. Here's what Coach Monica Strube from Cardinal Stritch has to say about Sam. "We are so excited for Samantha to be joining us next year. Both her bat and attitude will have an immediate impact on our lineup." While at Cardinal Stritch, Sam will study nursing.

CLC women's Coach Susan Garcia says, "She is one of those players that you wish you could keep around all 4 year of her college career. Sam is diligent and enthusiastic, her good nature and humor will be missed. We wish Sam all the best, both academically and athletically as she continues her college career."
