GAME 1: CLC 10 Elgin 1
College of Lake County defeated Elgin Spartans 10-1 on Tuesday in Elgin, highlighted by a six-run third inning that broke the game open.
The Lancers got on the board early in the top of the first on a groundout by Skye Meler. They then erupted in the third inning, as Tyler Brock and Emma Andrews each launched two-run home runs to center field. Cayden VonSande added an RBI single, and Nadia McCabe capped the inning with an RBI double.
College of Lake County continued to add on in the fourth inning.Tyler Brock drove in a run with a single, and Skye Meler followed with a two-run home run to right field.
Elgin's lone run came in the bottom of the fourth on a solo home run by Sebahar.
Nadia McCabe earned the win for the Lancers, tossing five strong innings while allowing just one run on four hits. The right-hander struck out seven and did not issue a walk. Sebahar took the loss for Elgin, surrendering 10 runs on 12 hits over five innings.
The Lancers collected 12 hits in the game, led by Megan Livingston, who went 3-for-3 at the top of the lineup. Tyler Brock and Skye Meler each drove in three runs, while Emma Andrews added two hits. Defensively, College of Lake County was flawless, with Gretchen Hansen leading the way with seven chances.
Sebahar paced Elgin at the plate, going 2-for-2 with an RBI. The Spartans were also error-free defensively, with Faber recording a team-high four chances.
GAME 2: CLC 15 Elgin 0
Lindsey Radermacher collected three hits in three at bats, as College of Lake County defeated Elgin Spartans 15-0 on Tuesday at Elgin.
Lindsey Radermacher hit a home run to left field in the fourth inning, doubled in the third inning, and doubled in the second inning.
College of Lake County scored eight runs in the fourth inning on the way to victory.

Lindsey Radermacher homered to left field, scoring two runs,
Cayden VonSande doubled, scoring one run,
Sophia Zepeda singled, scoring one run,
Megan Livingston singled, scoring one run, and

Olivia Peters earned the win for College of Lake County. The right-handed pitcher surrendered five hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out seven and walking one. Ventura took the loss for Elgin Spartans. The right-handed pitcher went three innings, giving up seven runs on seven hits, striking out none and walking two.
College of Lake County tallied 15 hits in the game.
Skye Meler drove the middle of the lineup, leading College of Lake County with five runs batted in. The left-handed hitter went 2-for-2 on the day.

Kaylin Worley each stole multiple bases for College of Lake County. College of Lake County worked the count all day, tallying four walks. College of Lake County stole six bases in the game. College of Lake County were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Andrews had the most chances in the field with three.
Lancer Softball is back in action this Thursday, March 26th, as they take on Morton College in a doubleheader at 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
