Coaches Comments:
"Coming off the biggest turnaround in NJCAA Women's Basketball last year, the Lancers are eager to carry that momentum into the 24'25 season. Last year's sophomores fully embraced the challenge of creating a lasting culture within the program and setting a strong foundation for the future. Their commitment helped shape the freshmen into the players they are today, leaving a lasting impact on CLC Women's Basketball.
We are thrilled to be returning our top three leading scorers from last season:
Mariya Sisco,
Chloe Sisco, and
Kennedee Clark. As freshmen, they not only excelled on the court but formed a tight-knit bond that will be crucial during their sophomore campaigns. Their growth, both as players and leaders, will be pivotal as we strive to elevate this program even further.
In addition to our returning sophomores, we're excited to welcome two dynamic transfers:
Maren McCallister from Concordia University (Ann Arbor, MI) and Alexandria "Allo" Wolff from Iowa Lakes CC. I've always believed that sophomores are key at this level, and with five sophomores, each bringing unique strengths to the team, I couldn't be more optimistic about what's ahead.
Alongside these experienced players, we have a talented group of seven freshmen who are eager to make their mark. As they continue to adjust to the demands of college basketball and grow into their roles, I'm confident this team will keep improving and competing at a high level.
We've set ambitious goals this season: winning our first Conference Championship since 1992 and competing at the top of our region. Ultimately, we aim to finish the season in Joplin, MO, at the NJCAA D2 Women's Basketball National Tournament.
We're excited about what's to come and look forward to the continued support from CLC faculty, staff, students, and the community. Go Lancers!"
