College of Lake County dominated Prairie State Pioneers with an 18–1 victory Thursday at Vernon Hills Athletic Complex, powered by a huge performance from Lindsey Radermacher. She drove in five runs on four hits, including a triple, two doubles, and a single.
College of Lake County set the tone early, scoring four runs in the first inning and adding five more in the second. They broke the game wide open in the fourth inning with a nine-run explosion on seven hits.
Several players contributed to the offensive surge. Tyler Brock, Cayden VonSande, Skye Meler, and Emma Andrews each had multiple hits, while Kaylin Worley also drove in multiple runs. In total, the team collected 17 hits.
Nadia McCabe earned the win, pitching 4? innings while allowing just one unearned run on three hits and striking out eight. Kozub took the loss for Prairie State after surrendering nine runs in just one inning of work.
Prairie State managed only three hits in the game, with Niedzwiedz, Servin, and Bullaro accounting for them.

College of Lake County delivered a commanding 19–0 shutout over Prairie State Pioneers on Thursday at Vernon Hills Athletic Complex, fueled by an explosive offense and a lights-out pitching performance.
Olivia Peters led the charge at the plate, driving in four runs on four hits, including two doubles and a single. Tyler Brock, Olivia Peters, and Emma Andrews each recorded four hits, while Cayden VonSande and Kaylin Worley added multiple-hit games as part of a 20-hit offensive outburst.
College of Lake County wasted no time getting started, erupting for seven runs in the first inning. They followed with five runs in the second and five more in the third to put the game well out of reach early.
Cayden VonSande was dominant on the mound, striking out 10 batters over five shutout innings while allowing just two hits and no walks.
The team also showed discipline at the plate, drawing eight walks, Megan Livingston led the way with four and aggression on the bases with four stolen bases. Defensively, College of Lake County was flawless, committing no errors, with Emma Andrews handling a team-high 11 chances.
Koeppen took the loss for Prairie State, allowing 19 runs (17 earned) over five innings.
Prairie State managed just two hits in the game, with Shippen and Koeppen accounting for them.
College of Lake County will look to carry this momentum into the weekend as they travel to Illinois Valley CC. On Saturday, 4/11, they will face Illinois Valley (9am) and Joliet Junior College (11am), then on Sunday, 4/12, they will face Harper College (9am) and Kishwaukee (11am).
