Saturday, GAME 1: CLC 5 IVCC 7

Despite outhitting Illinois Valley Community College 9–8, College of Lake County couldn't overcome an early deficit in a 7–5 loss on Saturday.

Illinois Valley broke the game open in the second inning, capitalizing on a mix of timely hitting and a defensive miscue. An error brought in the first run before a string of RBI hits from Kendyl, Shae, and Lauren, followed by a two-run double from Kaitlyn, pushed the lead to 6–0.

College of Lake County responded with a steady comeback effort. The offense chipped away at the deficit with contributions that included a home run, a double, and a single. Cayden VonSande provided a key moment in the fourth inning, launching a two-run home run to left field to help close the gap.

Megan Livingston led the way offensively with two hits and added pressure on the bases with two stolen bases. Tyler Brock and Cayden VonSande each drove in two runs, while the team also turned a double play defensively.

In the circle, Sophia Zepeda started for College of Lake County, allowing four runs (none earned) over 1? innings while striking out two and walking three. Nadia McCabe provided relief, tossing 4? innings and giving up three runs on seven hits with two strikeouts and two walks.

For Illinois Valley, Shae earned the win, pitching 6? innings while allowing nine hits and five runs, striking out six and walking one. Lauren led the team with two hits, while Kaitlyn drove in two runs. Illinois Valley also showed patience at the plate, drawing five walks.

Saturday, GAME 2: CLC 5 JJC 0

College of Lake County delivered a complete performance on Saturday, shutting out Joliet CC 5–0 behind a strong showing both in the circle and at the plate.

Lake County opened the scoring in the second inning when Cayden VonSande launched a solo home run to center field. They extended their lead in the third, capitalizing on a mix of timely hitting and a Joliet error. Tyler Brock doubled down the left field line, Kaylin Worley added an RBI single, and another run crossed on a defensive miscue to make it 4–0.

Cayden VonSande was outstanding in the circle, tossing 6? scoreless innings while allowing just three hits. The right-hander struck out seven and walked three to earn the win.

Offensively, Lake County totaled seven hits, with Tyler Brock, Olivia Peters, and Kaylin Worley each collecting two. Tyler Brock, Cayden VonSande, Olivia Peters, and Kaylin Worley all drove in a run. The team also applied constant pressure on the bases, stealing five bags, including two from Tyler Brock.

Sunday, GAME 3: CLC 9 Harper 0

College of Lake County put together a dominant all-around performance Sunday, rolling to a 9–0 victory over Harper Hawks.

Lake County wasted no time jumping ahead, plating four runs in the first inning.Tyler Brock started the scoring with an RBI single, followed by run-scoring hits from Emma Andrews and Lindsey Radermacher, while Nadia McCabe added another run with a sacrifice fly to cap the inning.

The offense stayed productive in the third inning, adding two more runs behind an RBI single from Cayden VonSande and another sacrifice fly from Nadia McCabe to extend the lead.

Nadia McCabe was outstanding in the circle, earning the win after tossing five scoreless innings. The right-hander allowed just two hits while striking out five and issuing no walks.

At the plate, Lake County racked up 10 hits, with Cayden VonSande, Megan Livingston, and Kaylin Worley each collecting two. Tyler Brock, Cayden VonSande, Lindsey Radermacher, Skye Meler, Kaylin Worley, and Emma Andrews all drove in runs in a balanced offensive effort. The team also stayed aggressive on the base paths, stealing three bases.

Defensively, Lake County was flawless, not committing a single error. Megan Livingston led the way with five chances in the field.
